Out with the Old, In with the New!

We don’t know about you, but for us, winter has just about overstayed it’s welcome. Don’t get us wrong, we love winter as much as the next Canadian, but we’re definitely ready for a change of pace. Let us take a moment to formally recognize and congratulate all the Canadians who represented Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. They made us truly proud. On March 9th, we will be losing an hour due to Daylight-Savings Time. Ever wonder why we have Daylight Savings Time? Many people believe that DST could be linked to fewer road accidents and injuries. It is also used to save energy and reduce artificial light needed during the evening hours. Commonwealth Day falls on March 10th, and good old St. Patrick’s Day falls on March 17th, don’t forget to wear green!
